An AI stylist that restyles your design in 3D
Magic Edit is the AI stylist inside the StokX 3D editor. Type or say what you want changed on your garment, such as a color, the light, a new fabric or a logo, and the AI applies it to the 3D model. It's included with StokX Pro, with up to 30 AI images a day.

How to restyle a design with the AI stylist
- 01
Open your design in 3D
Start with any garment in the StokX 3D editor, either a blank one or a design you've already made, and tap Magic edit in the editor's tools.
- 02
Say what to change
Type the change, or tap the microphone and say it: 'make it royal blue', 'soft studio light on a purple backdrop', 'swap to corduroy', 'add a small logo on the chest'.
- 03
See it on the model
The AI applies the change to the 3D model. Not quite right? Describe the next tweak. Pro includes up to 30 AI images a day, with no coins to spend.
AI fashion design, one sentence at a time
Type it or say it
Write the change in plain words, or tap the microphone and say it out loud. Your phone's built-in speech recognition turns it into text, and the app receives only the text, not the audio.
Color, light, fabric, logo
The changes a stylist would make: a new garment color, a different light, a fresh fabric, a logo added. Describe one and it's applied to the 3D model you're working on.
No coins, 30 a day
Magic Edit doesn't use coins. It's part of StokX Pro, with up to 30 AI images a day. That's room to try a dozen directions on one design before you settle on the one you'll print.
Change the whole look
Describe the light and the backdrop, not just the garment. The blue tee on this page went from lying flat on a carpet to a studio look with soft light on purple.
Fine-tune by hand after
Use Magic Edit for the big moves, then adjust by hand with Colors, Light, Background and Adjustments. Text and drawing on the garment come with Pro too, for the details you'd rather place yourself.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI stylist?
An AI stylist is a tool that makes style decisions or changes for you. Many AI stylist apps suggest outfits from your wardrobe. StokX's is different: Magic Edit restyles the garment you're designing. Describe a change in color, light, fabric or logo, and the AI applies it to your 3D model.
What is Magic Edit in StokX?
Magic Edit is the AI tool in the StokX 3D editor that changes your design from a typed or spoken instruction. Ask for a new color, a different light, another fabric or an added logo, and it's applied to the 3D model. It's a Pro feature, and a fast way to explore an AI clothing design.
Is Magic Edit free?
No. Magic Edit is included with StokX Pro and doesn't use coins, with up to 30 AI images a day. In the US App Store, Pro costs $5.99 a week, $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year. Prices vary by country. Pro also removes the watermark and unlocks all the Pro garments in 3D.
Can I use my voice?
Yes. Tap the microphone in Magic Edit and say the change. Your phone's built-in speech recognition turns your words into text, and StokX receives only that text. No audio is recorded or stored by StokX, and you can always type the instruction instead if you prefer.
Is it an AI fashion design generator?
Partly. Magic Edit changes a design you already have rather than starting from nothing. To create a new design from a description, use the AI Design Generator first, then refine it with Magic Edit. Together they cover AI fashion design from the first idea to the finished look.
What can I ask the AI stylist to change?
Colors, light, fabrics and logos are the main ones. Be specific: 'washed black with a faded finish' gives the AI more to go on than 'darker'. You can make one change after another, up to 30 AI images a day, and fine-tune by hand with the editor's other tools.
Where does Magic Edit work?
In the 3D editor of the StokX app, on iPhone, iPad and Android. It isn't available on the website. stokx.online can open a shared 3D design in any browser, but editing, Magic Edit included, happens in the app, which runs on iOS 16 or later and on Android.
